Who collects maps and what are they worth?

Tim Bryars, who is one of the organisers of the London Map Fair, talks to the BBC about the sort of people who collect maps, why they are so interesting to collectors and how much they can be worth.

The London Map Fair is being held at the Royal Geographical Society, Kensington, London on June 6 and 7. It is the largest map fair in the world and, according to Mr Bryars, "you will find more antique maps there under one roof than anywhere else on the planet".

Mr Bryars, who also co-runs a book and map shop in London, shows off some of his favourite maps in his London shop, some of which he will take to the fair.
