Bridget Riley: Learning from Seurat

The Courtauld Gallery, North Wing
In 1959 Bridget Riley painted a copy of Georges Seurat’s Bridge at Courbevoie, one of the highlights of The Courtauld Gallery. This experience represented a significant breakthrough for Riley, offering her a new understanding of colour and perception. This seminal moment of artistic discovery is the springboard for this special display.

This exhibition provides collectors with the rare opportunity to buy an element of a single major artwork. In support of Macmillan’s Not Alone campaign.

BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum: Children’s Writers

At this special showcase of emerging children’s writers, industry guests – including screenwriter Diane Whitley (House of Anubis, World’s End, Evermoor) and Executive Producer Lucy Martin (The Dumping Ground, Wolfblood) – will be critiquing three scripts performed live by professional actors.
