Weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 9-10 December, and also the following week. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you. | |

On Sunday there will be no service between Aldgate and Wembley Park on the Metropolitan line before 09:30 and after 20:30. This is to allow us to replace track and signalling between Baker Street and Finchley Road.

Tonight, Thursday, there will be no service between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town/Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) after 22:30 due to Network Rail track work.
All weekend there will be no service between Willesden Junction and Camden Road due to Network Rail infrastructure work.

On Saturday trains will not run between the following stations due to Crossrail construction work: |
| • | Highbury & Islington and Shadwell |
| • | Surrey Quays and New Cross |
|
On Sunday there will be no service between the following stations: |
| • | Highbury & Islington and New Cross / New Cross Gate due to Crossrail construction work and Network Rail infrastructure work |
| • | Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction due to Network Rail infrastructure work |
| • | Sydenham and Crystal Palace due to Network Rail infrastructure work |
| • | Liverpool Street and Enfield Town, Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) and Chingford until 10:15 due to Network Rail track work |

Until Sunday 14 January 2018, trains will not run between Gospel Oak and Barking. This is while Network Rail continue major work to enable new, longer trains to run from spring 2018.

Trains will not run between Chadwell Heath and Shenfield. This is while Network Rail carry out track and station improvements as part of their Railway Upgrade Plan, as well as Crossrail construction work. |

Until late December 2017, Custom House station will be closed and trains will not stop. This is due to Crossrail construction work.

Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:
South West London – From 10:00 until 19:00 today, Thursday, roads around Twickenham Stadium will be busier than usual including A316 Chertsey Road. There will also be closures and diversions on London Road, Whitton Road and Rugby Road. This is due to an event.
Central London – From 01:00 on Saturday until 05:00 on Monday 11 December, Tooley Street will be closed in both directions. Tooley Street is currently closed eastbound until next year. Bermondsey Street will also be closed every weekend until 15 January 2018. This is for Network Rail work.
Wembley - From 12:00 until 19:00 on Saturday, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road. This is due to an event.
Central London – From 12:00 until 17:00 on Sunday, there will be road closures and traffic holds on the following roads: Parliament Square via Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Haymarket, Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square, and Whitehall. This is due to a march.
Central London – From 07:30 on Monday 11 December until 17:00 on Sunday 29 April 2018, there will be a westbound closure of Queen Victoria Street at the junction of Mansion House Street. This is for Urban Realm Improvement works.
