Coming of age drama Bliss! recieves UK release date

Starring Freya Parks, David Leon and Montserrat Lombard, Bliss! will be released on VOD from 24th September.

30th August: London, UK - Goldfinch Studios have announced the release of their latest title, Bliss! Directed by Rita Osei, this coming of age story sees promising British talent Freya Parks (Les Miserables, Jayne Eyre) as the lead role, Tasha, travelling to Norway to find her father. The film also stars David Leon (Rocknrolla, Vera) and Montserrat Lombard (Ashes To Ashes, Love Soup).

Tasha, 16, is a strong-willed young girl who learns that her mother’s partner, Charlie, is not her real father. When her older sister, Jenny, tells Tasha of a man only referred to as ‘The Viking’ who appeared when Tasha was a baby, she becomes convinced this mysterious ‘Viking’ is her long-lost father and resolves to track him down. As Tasha begins her quest to find her father on the ferry to Norway, life takes unexpected turns back home. Jenny moves into her own flat, and the only son in the family, Danny, struggles with the prospect of becoming a father. Landing in Norway Tasha befriends Marta, a local girl who agrees to help her find her father. But will she find him and what will happen to her family while she is away?

Decorated homicide detective Ray Archer (Al Pacino) partners with criminal profiler Will Ruiney (Karl Urban) to catch one of the city's notoriously vicious serial killers, who is playing a twisted version of murder inspired by the children's game Hangman. Every 24 hours, a body is hung revealing the next letter carved into the victim's body. As crime journalist Christi Davies (Brittany Snow) reports on the crime spree, the trio must race against the clock to prevent further murders. Archer and Ruiney become more entangled in the ruthless game than they could ever have imagined, but they must keep playing to save lives and attempt to catch the Hangman.
