Strawberry Hill - It's going to be a summer of fun at 🍓 hill!

Summer Classical Concerts Inspired by Capability Brown and All Things Garden

Following the success of the 2015 Gothic Concert Series, our summer concerts return with an even stronger, more extensive programme inspired by the garden and Capability Brown’s horticultural legacy.

Launching on 16 June, enjoy works by Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and many other renowned composers celebrating London's 18th Century pleasure gardens, flowers, gardens and all things horticulture. The concerts will be performed by a variety of talented musicians, some returning to Strawberry Hill and others who will enjoy their inaugural performance at Walpole's beautiful castle.

The Strawberry Hill Dining Club: Artisan Gin with Silent Pool

Gin is on the agenda for The Dining Club on Wednesday 29 June, when Strawberry Hill is pleased to be welcoming guest speaker Ian McCulloch; founder of Silent Pool Distillers.

This artisan spirit distillery is located on the Duke of Northumberland's Albury Estate in The Surrey Hills, and takes its name from the mythical, spring-fed pool from which it draws its water.

Ian will be speaking about the history of gin, distilling and botanicals, and take us through a selection of tasters; including Silent Pool's classic signature and Admiral Collingwood Navy Strength gins. All in the splendid rooms of Strawberry Hill.

Enjoy a prosecco reception in the Library, dinner from The Cloister Catering in the magnificent Gallery, and dessert and spirit samples in the Great North Bedchamber.

We are delighted to invite subscribers to the Strawberry Hill newsletter to attend this evening ahead of any membership fees to The Dining Club (usually £125 per annum). Tickets for the event alone can be purchased for £75pp. The perfect opportunity to experience Strawberry Hill in a unique way, find out more about The Dining Club, network in excellent company and enjoy delicious food and drink.

We hope to see you there!
