Jutland 1916: WW1's Greatest Sea Battle
Opens 20 May

This free gallery marks the centenary of the Battle of Jutland, the largest sea battle of the First World War. Both sides suffered heavy losses in ships and men, with over 8500 lives lost in the action.
Hear the personal stories from those involved, see incredible objects on display for the first time and uncover the legacy of one of the most keenly-felt disappointments of the war.

This brand new travelling exhibition will premiere at Cutty Sark.
Find out how the Thames Estuary provided food as well as employment from boat building and fishing to keeping the seaways safe.
The story will be told through two vessels that worked in the Thames Estuary: Priscillaand Trinity House Launch 393 – both recently restored by the Pioneer Sailing Trust.
