European men grow taller |
European men have grown 11cm taller since the 1870s. Improved health and diet are the main reasons, although Museum human origins expert Professor Chris Stringer says, 'This doesn't mean that if we carry on eating, we will keep growing taller.' Height limits are based on our parents' genes but also on evolution over time.
