| There's lots of fun to be had this summer at IWM London and HMS Belfast, with a family activity every day from 24 July - 31 August.
Learn how to keep a warship in tip-top condition, travel back in time to D-Day in 1944, take charge of HMS Belfast and discover new interactive experiences on board!
And for one weekend only, we’re looking for new operatives to join IWM London’s spy school. Think you’re up to the challenge?
All family activities are free and take place from 10am - 3pm daily - just drop in to take part.
At HMS Belfast an admission ticket is required to come on board. Daily activities may vary, so we recommend checking details at the admissions desk upon arrival. |

 | | SPIES AND DISGUISE | | At IWM London’s spy school, recruits will be put through their paces. Get a crash course in camouflage, learn top tips for coding, meet the best secret agents for coded missions and more. |

| PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM VOLUNTEER MODELS | Calling all families! We're on the lookout for Photography and Film Volunteer Models.
You’ll have the chance to feature on IWM’s website, social media, leaflets and could even be the first to experience new exhibitions and events.
Everyone is welcome to apply. No modelling experience is necessary, just a passion for IWM’s subject and mission, and a willingness to take part in photo/film shoots. | |

 | | FAMILY MISSION: D-DAY EDITION | | It’s 1944 and the most important day of the war so far is looming. You and your family are needed as the latest naval recruits. Learn about the biggest invasion in history as you explore HMS Belfast. |

|  | | SEA LEGS | | Test how steady you’ll be on choppy seas, figure out how to feed 950 men with limited rations, solve nautical puzzles and discover what life was like for the ship’s company during the Second World War. |

 | | NEW: STEER THE SHIP | | Deep in the heart of the ship, try our new interactive experience. See if you can follow the Captain’s orders to steer HMS Belfast to its destination in time for D-Day, 6 June 1944. |
