Horniman Spring Fair

Saturday 30 March, 11am – 4pm

Join in with seasonal fun and games at the annual Spring Fair. Enjoy music, crafts, circus skills, bubbles and lots more! 

Featuring Bubbleology, Mrs H and the Sing-along Band, Project Hoop, Seed of Play and local DJ Nutty’s Entertainment.

Dinosaur rEvolution

Now open

How did some dinosaurs survive extinction? And which dino features are better – horns, spikes or quills?

Visit the exhibition and discover what dinosaurs really looked like. Featuring large animatronic models, fossil skeleton and skull casts, drawing stations and dressing up.

Adolescent Wonderland

Until December 2024

In this free exhibition, photographs by artist Naomi Hobson explore the beauty and humour of the First Nations young people in her community in Coen, northern Queensland.

In the Gardens

From Monday 4 March our Gardens are open for an extra hour until 6.30pm.

From crocuses to a microforest, enjoy our beautiful Gardens as Spring starts to appear.

Horniman Market

Every Sunday, 10am - 3pm

Pick up essentials and enjoy delicious street food at our weekly Market. Alongside food stalls, you’ll find body care, clothing and jewellery. Most items are locally produced with environmentally friendly materials using natural and organic ingredients.


125th Anniversary Appeal

A visualisation of visitors in the new Natural History Gallery

The Natural History Gallery will close from 4 March 2024 for a full renovation and redisplay as part of our transformational Nature + Love project. It will reopen in 2026, the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Horniman Museum.
