Swing by and meet our new arrivals This month at the Zoo saw some wonderful new arrivals - from Amara, the pygmy hippo who trotted into her new home at London Zoo, to welcoming a trio of African wild dogs to the pack at Whipsnade Zoo, as part of the European breeding programme for the Endangered species. Our Zookeepers even had a go at matchmaking in Gorilla Kingdom at London Zoo, by giving a very special Valentine's Day treat to our Western lowland gorilla trio earlier in the month. Welcome Amara!  Adorable pygmy hippo Amara has been settling into her new home at London Zoo and joining her new hippo-hubby, Thug.
