Located on the rooftop of John Lewis on Oxford Street, Willows on The Roof provides the ultimate sanctuary from the mayhem of shopping.

Sit back and enjoy a hot drink, a seasonal cocktail and food courtesy of Tacos El Rey and Local Greens by Kitchen Ventures. All whilst soaking up the panoramic views across central London.

Willows on The Roof has a number of private bookable areas, including two heated chalet-inspired cabins and four domes, all of which offer an ideal intimate premium dining experience. We have covered, heated space inside the restaurant to keep you all warm and cosy throughout the winter.

Greetings from Burgh House!

The house has been dressed for the festive season and feels really cosy. Pop along and see the lights and beautiful decorations, pick up some gifts from our shop and taste some Burgh House Cafe winter treats!

We also have a packed line up of events to bring us through to the New Year, as well as our wonderful exhibitions.

Looking for gift ideas? Purchase Burgh House event tickets or membership for a friend or loved one!

Bethany is one of our fantastic volunteers here at Burgh House who provide a warm welcome to our visitors. She has written a little about herself to share in this week's newsletter:

"I look forward to welcoming you to Burgh House. Since graduating from my Master's degree in English Literature, I wanted to continue enriching my knowledge of arts and culture, and Burgh House strongly appealed as a place to do so for its varied exhibitions and rich history.

I enjoy learning about all exhibitions at the museum, however Hampstead's modernist history has particularly taken my interest since I started volunteering here in September. My own love of modernist literature allows for a great appreciation of the art that accompanies it, and of course the social and intellectual history that surrounds Hampstead. Please feel free to ask for book recommendations from our shelves "

Bethany, like all our volunteers, is a great support for Burgh House and we are looking for people to join our friendly team. Please click on the link below if you’d like to express an interest in volunteering with us.
