Last week it was announced that Places for London (Transport for London’s property company) is developing proposals to transform the space outside Baker Street Station.
We have long-held a vision for a fitting gateway to Marylebone at Baker Street Station and we are beyond excited to see this important step forwards towards this becoming a reality.
We are delighted at the prospect of a future piazza bringing the attention, investment and expertise needed to create the welcome this historic location deserves.
This is the first stage of the journey and we’re looking forward to working with Places for London, TfL, the design team and our local community to help shape an outstanding new public space for everyone coming to and living in Marylebone.
Places for London is inviting people to share their views at this early stage to understand how people currently experience the space and what they would like the project team to consider as the proposals develop.
