When the weather is hot and you’re feeling peckish, then only a good cookout will do. Smokoloko’s specially select their meats which are then slowly smoked for six hours in cherry wood and herbs, served with handmade, fresh, fluffy Middle Eastern bread. We know your mouth is watering already, so it’s definitely worth visiting Smokoloko’s! Not only is the food flavoursome, but it’s cooked in a renovated steam train named Smoky!

On Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May, Bishops Square will be transformed letting you experience the beautiful island of Sicily through taste, sound and sights. You’ll be able to look through market stalls of jewellery, crafts and home interiors, not to mention the delicious array of Sicilian food: cannelloni, pasta and other snacks will be available alongside Sicilian beer and wine. The two-day festival is a visual treat as well – look out for photo exhibitions, music and a traditional Sicilian puppet show that kids will love!

With music from the New Covent Garden Dance Orchestra, don’t miss out on the lunchtime fun.

Having secured investment on TV’s Dragons’ Den, this exciting new cardio fitness class is built around the love of dancing to classic swing, rhythm & blues and jazz, as opposed to the electronic and club music that usually dominates exercise courses. No dancing experience or level of fitness is necessary, just a joy for dancing! Try it out for free in Bishop’s Square from 5:30–6:30pm over the coming Spring/Summer months.
The beloved pop-up Africa will yet again return to Spitalfields E1 for its 5th year running, transforming East London into a bustling African market for one day only. Monday 29th May, from 10am–5pm, experience the best in African cuisine, art, literature and hand crafted goods, as well as live music, storytelling and dancing.
We’ve had two recent updates in among our shops! The new refurbishment in the Giraffe branch boasts an eclectic mix of influences from artwork inspired by the streets of the orient, to Italian inspired tile work. One thing that definitely won't change is the tasty menu on offer! Independent eyewear designers Ollie Quinn also has a brand-new store, with an updated fresh and clean look. You’ll be able to look through their extensive collection of sunglasses, spectacles, and even get an eye test in store.
