Museum of Brands - Now Open: AdWomen Exhibition at the Museum of Brands

A colorful graphic with the bold, geometric text "ADWOMEN" in multicolored letters, followed by the tagline "Adwomen. Celebrating 100 years of women in advertising."

NOW OPEN: AdWomen

The wait is over! Our groundbreaking exhibition, AdWomen, created in partnership with the History of Advertising Trust, is now open to the public.

Running until 28 April 2025, AdWomen celebrates the trailblazing women behind some of advertising’s most iconic campaigns while exploring the evolving portrayal of women in the industry. With an extraordinary collection of commercials, print ads, and rare ephemera, this exhibition offers a fascinating look at the intersection of gender, media, and social change.

This inspiring exhibition is made possible thanks to the generous support of our corporate partner Mars, and our industry partners: the Advertising Association (AA)ISBAIPA, and WACL.

Don’t miss this chance to explore the stories that shaped the advertising world. Learn more here.

"Opie's collection is second to none and it's a miracle some of his items have survived when you think how much we throw away as a consumer society. I have nothing negative to say about this place, it's unique, beautifully displayed and an absolute joy."
Google Review, October 2024

"This really is a nostalgic wander down memory lane. For those older folks, it's a great laugh remembering what you had & didn't have. Youngsters probably won't believe what the oldies lived with. The Time Tunnel is a passage way filled with memorabilia from the past. Extremely well laid out displays, track the passage from Victorian time with food, clothes, household items, toys & historical events. You work your way through to modern times. The amount of items displayed is huge. A thoroughly enjoyable way to spend time."
