British Museum - Family events – giant chess and screening of Brave

Enjoy special events for families on Sat 28 Nov, inspired by our current exhibition Celts: art and identity (until 31 Jan). Look out for the wild boars roaming through the exhibition and uncover the hidden stories behind the objects! Under 16s also go free to the exhibition.

Take part in a giant game of chess, complete with living chess pieces, before sitting down to your own game of chess against the opponent of your choice.

Catch a special screening of the Disney Pixar classic Brave. The film tells the story of Princess Merida who must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse. Cert: PG.
