Saturday 5 December, 1.15-4.15pm
Take a trip along the Thames this December and discover the frozen world of London's frost fairs in this exclusive winter boat trip.
Between 1309 and 1814, the Thames completely froze at least 23 times, and on five of these occasions, the freeze was deep enough to support the weight of a festival on the ice – the frost fair was born!
Join Museum of London curators Alex Werner, Head of History Collections, and Hazel Forsyth, Senior Curator of Medieval & Post-Medieval History, to discover this amazing occurrence in London's history as you take in the city in winter from the river.
