Catch the Christmas Spirit in Greenwich

The Greenwich Christmas festivities begin with the local school children's hand made lantern procession and the switching on of the Christmas lights in Greenwich 
Wednesday 25 November 2015. The Christmas festivities in Greenwich begin with the local school children's hand made lantern procession and the switching on of the Christmas lights in Greenwich Market.
The procession will start at 4pm in front of the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre at the ORNC and will wind its way to the Market.
The big countdown at 4.45pm will be with Sarah Jane Honeywell from CBeeBees and characters from this year's Greenwich Playhouse panto Red Riding Hood.
All can join in singing Christmas Carols, meet Father Christmas in his Greenwich Grotto and shop late through to 7pm.

Music and Mulled Wine

Friday 4 December from 6.45pm
Join us for an evening of festive music, mulled wine and a little late night shopping.

At 7pm The Blackheath Centre for Singing choir will entertain with Advent songs followed at 7.30pm by the London Graduate Orchestra who will perform a selection of music from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker. Entrance is free. MORE
