In the Gardens

The skeleton model of the velociraptor in the Prehistoric Garden

There is always lots to see and do in the Gardens. Discover plants and trees that were around during the period of the dinosaurs in the Prehistoric Garden, play on the giant musical instruments in the Sound Garden, and get a close up view of alpacas, goats and other domesticated animals in the Animal Walk.

Until 5 February, the Gardens close at 4.20pm. From 6 February the Gardens close at 5.30pm, giving you more time to enjoy the beautiful landscapes.

Path Repairs

Starting from Monday 6 February, significant works to improve the footpaths and paving in the Gardens will be taking place. While we will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum, there may be some short term changes to routes around the Gardens while the works are completed. Please do check our website for updates when planning your visit.
