Carnaby Street Christmas Lights Switched on 8th Nov 2012 at 5.30

Carnaby have collaborated with The Rolling Stones for this year’s Christmas decorations which have been co-designed by the legendary Rock ‘n’ roll band.

The installation will launch on Thursday 8 November from 5.30pm on Carnaby Street, with a live countdown by rock chic DJ and presenter Goldierocks, a rock ‘n’ roll dance performance and DJ set. You can also get your hands on one of the limited edition Carnaby Rolling Stones canvas bags being given out on the night.

The stunning decorations will tell a visual story of the band’s creation in the 1960’s to the present day. The Rolling Stones pop up shop at 10 Carnaby Street will also be launching on the night selling limited edition apparel and prints.

Once the decorations launch has got you in the Christmas mood, come along to our rock 'n' roll themed Carnaby 20% Shopping Party on thursday 22 November.

Welcome to Covent Garden London
Covent Garden Christmas launch 2012

Christmas kicks off on Wednesday November
Come down to Covent Garden on Wednesday night for the first of many magical moments we've got planned for Christmas 2012. We'll be switching on more than 150,000 lights to a festive soundtrack courtesy of the London Gay Men's Choir who'll be serenading shoppers every Saturday until Christmas.
Giant baubles, pea lights and glitter balls
The giant red baubles and glitter balls in the Market Building were such a huge hit last year that they're back. Plus we've increased the winter wonderland effect with thousands of pea lights in the streets surrounding the Piazza.
