Bond Street Christmas Event
Bond Street Christmas Event: "On Thursday 22nd November from 6-9pm, Bond Street will come alive for the Bond Street Christmas Event. This public event will showcase the charm of Bond Street at a magical time of year. Its elegant flagship stores will be open late, hosting an array of special activities to mark the start of the festive season. Carol singers, stilt walkers, hot chestnut sellers and other festive delights will be lining the entire length Bond Street, which will be closed to traffic for the duration of the event, giving visitors the freedom to experience the wide selection of designer fashion and fine jewellery."

Lights on and Lantern ParadeWednesday 28 November 4pm to 7pmThe Christmas festivities begin with the local school children's lantern procession and the switching on of the Christmas sparkly lights. The procession will start at 4pm in front of the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre at the Old Royal Naval College and wind its way to the Market. The big countdown at 4.30pm led by Sarah Jane Honeywell from CBeeBees and characters from this year's Greenwich Playhouse panto Robin Hood. Join in singing Christmas Carols, meet Father Christmas in his Greenwich Grotto and shop late through to 7pm. Father Christmas At HomeFather Christmas will be in residence at his Greenwich Grotto on Wednesday 28 November (4pm to 7pm) and Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th and Saturday 22nd and 23rd December (12pm to 5pm). His funny elf will treat the children to magic and balloon fun while they wait their turn to talk to Santa and collect their Christmas gift bag. 12.30pm to 5.30pm daily. £4 a visit. |

Carnaby Street Christmas Lights Switched on 8th Nov 2012 at 5.30
Carnaby have collaborated with The Rolling Stones for this year’s Christmas decorations which have been co-designed by the legendary Rock ‘n’ roll band.
The installation will launch on Thursday 8 November from 5.30pm on Carnaby Street, with a live countdown by rock chic DJ and presenter Goldierocks, a rock ‘n’ roll dance performance and DJ set. You can also get your hands on one of the limited edition Carnaby Rolling Stones canvas bags being given out on the night.
The stunning decorations will tell a visual story of the band’s creation in the 1960’s to the present day. The Rolling Stones pop up shop at 10 Carnaby Street will also be launching on the night selling limited edition apparel and prints.
Once the decorations launch has got you in the Christmas mood, come along to our rock 'n' roll themed Carnaby 20% Shopping Party on thursday 22 November.
