Grassland and prairie planting at the Olympic Park by horticulturalist James Hitchmough
Grasslands Garden

A new Grasslands Garden is being created in the Horniman Gardens, which will showcase North American prairie and South African grassland vegetation, some of which are now critically threatened landscapes. Most of the plants have been propagated on site and will flower gradually into the summer. Read more about the Grasslands Garden on our blog.

The Gardens are a special place for many people to enjoy with their families and as a place for tranquility. Did you know that you can help support the work in the Gardens by sponsoring a bench or a tree? Find out more.
