High Demand for London Hotels 1st July 2011

LONDON FULL !!

Some of repeat customers have reported that at the moment availability in London is difficult to come by. Many hotels are already fully booked or holding out for very high best available rates.
We have always avoided recommendations we make broad suggestions based on current booking patterns and  simply list the most booked properties. A general central London search through a number
of different  hotel booking web sites produced hardly any hotels offering rooms and those that were at very high rates £300-£ 500 per night.

The lesson here is book early and If your planning to come to the Olympics next year Book now or stay outside London in dormitory towns outside the M25 but on a mainline train or tube line.

So why is it so full well we know the reasons for  two to three weeks next summer But this year  well here is our view..

“ Last year we had the world cup in South Africa and a lot of Europeans went but can’t afford another long haul trip especially with the increased airfares caused by the oil price increases that leaves Europeans travelling to Europe.
Nobody wants to go  Greece  with its trouble similarly Egypt  Tunisia Morocco are all a bit too close to Libya. Turkey and Croatia are always very busy and have a very seasonal and somewhat smaller capacity.
And don’t get me wrong their all great destinations but with human nature as it is we are left with the rest of Europe and in particular Spain ( just the resorts ) Paris  and London as first choices the result……

Are we FULL ?“

Having said all this don’t despair there are always last minute cancelations and non arrivals duplicates bookings but book now Central London and Greater London Search
