June Newsletter
This year's Open Garden Squares Weekend is little under a week away now (14 & 15 June) and we are so excited by this year's event: such a wonderful array of gardens and events.
Received your tickets yet?
If you have purchased your tickets on line (before 9 June), you should have received them in the post by now - let us know if not. After 9 June, you can still buy on-line tickets; but, as time is short, you will have a PDF ticket to print out and be able to collect a guidebook in gardens over the weekend.
Planning your Weekend
With so many gardens to choose from, we really recommend taking the time to plan your weekend. You can use your guidebook to help with this and we have put a few suggestions on line.
Check for Changes
The guidebook went to print in April and inevitability there have been some changes since then. Please do check the changes pageon our web site before setting off.
Number 10 Tour Places Allocated
The ballot for places on the tour of the garden at Number 10 Downing Street has now closed - and again this proved astonishingly popular. While we would have loved to take you all, those lucky few who have won a place have now been contacted. So, if you haven't heard from us, sorry and fingers crossed for next year! Similarly those who have been allocated places on other tours have been contacted.
Keep in Touch
Read on for details of forthcoming events by the London Parks & Gardens Trust and don't forget to keep in touch. If you are tweeting during the Weekend please use #OpenSquares. We'd love to see your photos too: please contribute them to our Flickr group.
Thank you all for your support, fingers crossed for sunshine; but, whatever the weather, we hope you have a truly fabulous time.
