Natural History Museum - How do you move a taxidermy giraffe?

A tall order: how to move a taxidermy giraffe
The taxidermy giraffe
When Hintze Hall reopens on 14 July, one of the first specimens visitors will encounter will be a taxidermy giraffe. From hoof to horn it measures 4.35 metres, so how exactly did it move around the Museum?

The taxidermy giraffe will stand alongside a giraffe skeleton in one of ten new display bays that reflect the story of evolution, diversity in the world today and our role in protecting the planet.
