The first revival of Rodula Gaitanou's acclaimed 2019 production, hailed as "spectacular", brings Verdi's gripping tale of forbidden love, political intrigue and betrayal back to the Holland Park stage, conducted by Michael Papadopoulos with Matteo Desole making his role debut as Gustavo. Then, on Sunday 26 July for one night only, step into the Golden Age of Broadway with soprano Anush Hovhannisyan and singer-pianist Sam Jewison. Accompanied by a dazzling 40-piece orchestra, they'll perform beloved songs from Oklahoma!, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls and more, alongside orchestral favourites including Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. |
