Devil Wears Prada - Pop Up Screens - Sunday 14 September - London Fashion Week

Looking to escape from the madness that is London Fashion Week… but still want to indulge in some retail appreciation?

The pioneers of outdoor cinema, Pop Up Screens have the perfect solution as they screen the ultimate fashion film, Devil Wears Prada. All you need to do it kick off those stilettos, pop open the Prosecco, settle down on your favorite pashmina and indulge in some me time.
The screening will kick off in in Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith at around 8.30pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.popupscreens.co.uk for £10.
To ensure you leave feeling refreshed and refueled, Pop Up Screens will also be serving up bespoke Pop Up Burgers. The full details are currently under wraps, but we can guarantee they’ll be tasty and include a pun or two!
It goes without saying there’ll also be a fully stocked bar and it just wouldn’t be cinema without popcorn (http://www.drumandkernelpopcorn.co.uk/) and sweets.
Pop Up Screens founder David Leydon said:  “If you’ve never been to an outdoor cinema, you should, it’s a must try.  I know it sounds like a bit of a sales pitch, but it really is the best way to watch a movie as you’re in a park, with your friends and hundreds of other people that love that movie as much as you do.  And that real love for the movie creates a special atmosphere you won’t find at any multiplex.”
As well as this special London Fashion Week screening, throughout the summer, the super size screen will visit some of the capitals best-loved parks, including Morden, Fulham, Blackheath, Hammersmith, Holborn and Greenwich, with screenings kicking off around 8.30pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.popupscreens.co.uk for £10, or a weekender pass to see all three films at any one location will set you back £24, with a bumper Season Ticket available for only £75- that’s all 33 films for a little over £2 a movie.
