We have been given unprecedented access to the David Bowie Archive to curate the first international retrospective of the extraordinary career of David Bowie. David Bowie is features over 300 objects brought together for the very first time including handwritten lyrics, original costumes, fashion, photography, film, music videos, set designs, Bowie’s own instruments and album artwork.The exhibition has already broken a host of records, receiving more than three times the amount of advance bookings for any other exhibition at the V&A.

Evening Talk

As one of the most prolific milliners of the twenty-first century, Stephen Jones has designed hats for some of the world’s most influential fashion houses. Stephen, in conversation with V&A Curator Oriole Cullen, joins us four years after his exhibition ‘Hats: An anthology’ first opened at the V&A and as the show comes to the end of its major world tour.

This event is part of Members' Week 2013. Other speakers during the week include GQ Editor Dylan Jones on Bowie, illustrator Jason Brooksin conversation with the London College of Fashion's Tony Glenville, and fashion designer Jenny Packham.
