Special events to celebrate the Chelsea Fringe at the Geffrye!
Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday 12 - 5pm
The Flowerbeds - artists in action and workshop
Vienna-based artists and landscape designers The Flowerbeds will be creating a one-off large scale artwork with stencils and used pattern rollers. Inspired by the museum and our gardens, the work celebrates the London-wide Chelsea Fringe festival.

Saturday 18 May, 2.30 - 4.30pm
Watch the artists at work and join in a free workshop, for all ages, to create a garden-themed mural using similar techniques.
Sunday 19 May, 12 - 4.30pmWatch the artists at work on their unique creation inspired by the Geffrye's gardens.

The finished artwork will be on display at the museum throughout the Chelsea Fringe.

Workshop and Talk: The City Gardener
Wednesday 22 May  
Period rooms and gardens open from 6pm, event 6.15 - 8.30pm
Tickets £10, £7.50 concessions (includes a glass of summer punch) 
Be inspired by stories of 17th century gardeners and apothecaries and make historic remedies and natural cosmetics.
