Mid-Century Style Saturday 12 October, 1.30-4.30pm  Explore mid-twentieth century homes and design through our 1965 period room, rarely seen objects from our stores and a new film about the Finmar firm, who introduced iconic Scandinavian design into English living rooms. A Mid-Century Dinner Party Wednesday 16 October, 7 - 10pm Step back to the 1950s and 60s for a unique dining experience devised by Funthyme. Explore the museum and enjoy a four-course meal accompanied by live piano music from the period and introductions to each course by food historian Kate Colquhuon. Special lighting will be provided by Mathmos as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the iconic lava lamp.
