See Hogwarts in the snow this Christmas - Warner Studio Tours

Warner Bros.Studio Tour London The Making of Harry Potter(TM)
Hogwarts in the Snow
15th November to 6th January The most magical snowfall of the season will take place at the Studio Tour this year as the breathtaking Hogwarts Castle model is covered by a blanket of snow. See the castle as you have never seen it before as we recreate the iconic Christmas look it wore for festive scenes.
Great HallWe’ll also be giving some of our fantastic sets a makeover using the actual decorations and food props seen in the Harry Potter film series. Eight Christmas trees will line the Great Hall and the long dining tables will be dressed as they were for the seasonal feasts with turkey, hams, fruit, vegetables, plum puddings and snow cakes.
Did you know? The snow used on the Hogwarts castle model during filming was actually dendritic salt. It was chosen because it clumps like snow and even squeaks when walked on. A member of the crew would have climbed aboard a cherry picker and sprinkled salt on the model by hand with a sieve – like dusting sugar onto a cake.
