DIY Community? Award: Nye Thompson, Museum of the Shared Now
20-24 October daily 10am-8pm. Meet the artist Wednesday 22 Oct 5-8pm Mezzanine foyer of the Tower Building, Holloway Road
This interactive exhibition uses social media and ‘crowd-sourced’ content. Each piece seeks small ways to reinforce feelings of belonging and connectedness. The Museum aims to reclaim some of our online activity into the physical world, transforming the ephemeral and virtual into something more tangible. Visitors are invited to contribute to the wall of shared tweets @MusofSharedNow #MOSN

A festival of theatre in an exciting new venue. London Met and Heritage Arts (VAULT Festival) present a pop up in the atmospheric Boiler House in the heart of Holloway Road. Includes work by Jane Turner (Turning Worlds), Jacek Scarso (Elastic Theatre), Anne Robinson, Dawn State and more. The Gatehouses by Architecture Studio 8 at The Cass

20-24 October, 8am-9pm
Courtyard at Tower Building, Holloway Road
Students in Architecture Studio 8 at the Cass have designed and made 5 ‘gatehouses’ based on landscape edge conditions and liminal spaces. The Gatehouses are installed in 5 different locations around the courtyard of London Met on Holloway road.

A performance piece that invites you to participate in reflective investigation of the PROMISE of education. Since its beginnings London Met has delivered education under many different names. These names reflect the desires and aspirations of its students. This piece we will explore the re-creative aspect of the name Northern Technical and Recreative Institute. Join Belinda and her assistants for an assessment like no other.
