New Greenwich development Enderby Wharf has rich history

Barratt London development Enderby Wharf, in Greenwich, has a rich history - and even includes a Grade II listed structure in addition to the new build.
Enderby Wharf, in Christchurch Way, gets its name from Samuel Enderby who was a maritime entrepreneur and explorer who started a shipping company in Greenwich in the 18th century.
Grade II listed Enderby House, built in the 1830s, will be refurbished as part of the new development and will remain a central focus, bringing Greenwich maritime and fishing history together with the modern 21st century.

Barratt London sales director Gerald Thomas said: "Enderby Wharf epitomises modern London living. The development captures both the culture and history of Greenwich, while equally reflecting London's modern style.
"With its enviable location, transport links to the economic hub Canary Wharf, and host of amenities, we are expecting a strong interest from both owner occupiers and investors. We look forward to Enderby Wharf playing its part in the broader Greenwich regeneration."
The development will consist of 616 apartments with a mix of studio, one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments and duplexes (each with a balcony or terrace), sitting on the riverside with views of Canary Wharf and the City.
Apartments are on sale from £285,000 for a one-bedroom home.
