The Geffrye's annual celebration Christmas Past opens today. The exhibition is free and is highly recommended by us. Each of the 11 period rooms being authentically decorated in keeping with that period.  Visitors can enjoy an evocative insight into how Christmas has been celebrated in English homes over the past 400 years. There is an exciting programme of free seasonal events for all ages, festive food in the cafĂ©, and a variety of Christmas gifts in the shop. Come and be merry!
