The Bach Players: A Christmas Present

Johan de Cock: A Christmas Piano Recital Sunday
14th December, 3:30pm

South African pianist Johan de Cock returns with a recital of Christmas piano music by Bach, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Tchaikovsky and Bartók, as well as new, original Christmas works from around the world. A beautiful exhibition of still- life paintings by Hampstead based studio-potter, artist and Burgh House supporter Anthea Ryan.

Burgh House Christmas Art and Craft Fair

Get into the festive spirit and start the Christmas season with a bang with our annual Burgh House Christmas Fair.  Fantastic arts and crafts stalls from London makers and designers, plus carol singing, kids’ lucky dip, mulled wine, mince pies and a whole lot of jollity.

Christmas Shopping

We have stunning array of handmade and vintage card designs from Hampstead company Pearl and Black, as well as local photographer Hugh Dehn (we just love his ladies swimming in the snowy ponds), not to mention scrumptious Damson Tree Christmas goodies, natural cosmetics and an extensive book collection. The shop at Burgh House has got original Christmas gifts covered.

Christmas Opening Times

We are open Wednesday - Friday and Sunday 12:00pm - 5:00pm up to and including 21st December. We will reopen on Wednesday 7th January 2015.

Fellowship & Sacrifice: Hampstead and the First World War
To mark the First World War Centenary, this exhibition at Burgh House and Hampstead Museum will look at the effects of the war on Hampstead Village and Heath. It will touch on the work of official war artists from the area and soldiers from Hampstead who fought at the Front. The exhibition will also examine the important role played by local military hospitals and residents.
