From Birth till Death: Scrolled Life Stories

Explore this new exhibition online, and discover life stories in a dramatic installation of painted papyrus scrolls.

Go on a walking tour with lead artist R.M. Sanchez-Camus, see the hanging scrolls in detail, watch a contemplative animation and listen to the exhibition's soundscape.

You can also create your own life scroll at home using the activity sheet on the website.

Explore the From Birth till Death exhibition online.
Sardinian Sun-seekers on the Nature Trail

In our latest blog, gardener Daniel Harwood tells us about the winter heliotrope - a pinkish flower that can be found on the Horniman Nature Trail in January. Originally from North Africa and Sardinia, the winter heliotrope was popular with Victorian gardeners and planted in damp and shady places to provide year-round ground cover.

Read Daniel’s blog to find out about the winter heliotrope flower.
