We're here to combat the January blues! Now that our Zoos are closed again for the third time in a year due to COVID-19 restrictions, our keepers are still on site looking after our 20,000 animals.  To brighten your January blues we're bringing you the news from our Zoos. From Zoo School and bedtime stories for the children to learning all about cheetahs, and even making your very own origami cheetah.  It will cost us £1m this month to continue feeding and caring for our 20,000 animals, without any visitor income to support the cost. Zoo School is back!  If you're looking for fantastic animal-themed activities to keep your little cubs busy, you'll find fun and engaging curriculum-linked activities for all ages. Plus, they’re available to use and download for free.  ZOO SCHOOL Tails from the Zoo Our keepers will bring your little ones a virtual bedtime story every Saturday and Sunday at 6.30pm. Tune in this weekend to hear Gorilla read by Veronica Heldt on Saturday and The Slightly Annoying Elephant read by Eimear Daly on Sunday WATCH THE TRAILER

Waddling on A £50 donation could feed ZSL London Zoo's resident penguins for a day! With over 70 hungry beaks to feed, they get through a lot of fish! Any donation you are able to give will directly help to feed the animals at the Zoo.  DONATE TODAY
