Looking ahead to the Opera Holland Park 2021 Season
As the days slowly brighten, we are excited to announce the provisional dates of our 2021 Season, featuring our resident orchestra City of London Sinfonia. We can also reveal that we'll be adapting our theatre space this season, to keep you and all our artists and staff safe and socially distanced.
The 2021 Season will open on 1 June with new productions of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro (1–26 June), Janácek’s The Cunning Little Vixen (13–30 July), Mascagni’s L’amico Fritz (16–31 July), a revival of our celebrated 2018 staging of Verdi’s La traviata (5–29 June), and a co-production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comedy, The Pirates of Penzance (2–6 August), with Charles Court Opera.
British Youth Opera, a training company with which many of our artists and creatives have cut their operatic teeth, will also be making its Opera Holland Park debut in August 2021.
General Booking will open at 10am on Wednesday 14 April, or you can join as a Silver Member for £75 to book from Wednesday 24 March.
More details of the 2021 Season, including cast and creatives, images of the adapted theatre space and information about our four accessible Discovery Matinee performances, will be announced soon.
