This September, the Chelsea History Festival will once again be bringing the past to life through a carefully curated selection of performances, talks and tours.

Headline events include: Peter Snow and Ann MacMillan on the Kings and Queens of England; a special concert with Michael Morpurgo to mark the 40th anniversary of War HorseLawrence Freedman on the politics of military command; and Lindsey Fitzharris on the battle to mend the disfigured soldiers of the First World War.
