| Bethany is one of our fantastic volunteers here at Burgh House who provide a warm welcome to our visitors. She has written a little about herself to share in this week's newsletter: "I look forward to welcoming you to Burgh House. Since graduating from my Master's degree in English Literature, I wanted to continue enriching my knowledge of arts and culture, and Burgh House strongly appealed as a place to do so for its varied exhibitions and rich history.
I enjoy learning about all exhibitions at the museum, however Hampstead's modernist history has particularly taken my interest since I started volunteering here in September. My own love of modernist literature allows for a great appreciation of the art that accompanies it, and of course the social and intellectual history that surrounds Hampstead. Please feel free to ask for book recommendations from our shelves "
