Be one of the first to tour the East Wing of Buckingham Palace  The East Wing of Buckingham Palace will open for public tours for the first time this summer, and will be available to visitors to the State Rooms. The East Wing of the Palace includes the front façade and features the famous central balcony.   Tours will go on sale on Tuesday, 9 April. Take a slow look at Anne Boleyn Slow down, take a breath and enjoy a gentle, detailed look at Holbein’s portrait of Anne Boleyn. The drawing – along with many other paintings and sketches – is on display in our exhibition Holbein at the Tudor Court until 14 April. WATCH THE FILM The Queen's Drawing Room at Windsor Castle Originally built as the 'Withdrawing Room' for Catherine of Braganza, Charles II’s wife, by the 19th century this room at Windsor Castle was known as the Picture Gallery and hung with Old Masters. Today, it is known as the Queen’s Drawing Room and is home to some of the finest Stuart portraits in the Royal Collection. It can be seen on a visit to Windsor Castle’s State Apartments.
