Reminder: the clocks go back on Sunday!
 
This Sunday at 2am the clocks will go back an hour and we'll make the shift from British Summer Time to Greenwich Mean Time.
 
The UK has put the clocks forward in March and back in October since 1916, when the Summer Time Act was passed.
 
Some of the arguments in favour of changing the clocks included reducing energy consumption for environmental reasons, having longer evenings to support leisure and tourism, and encouraging people to exercise more outdoors.
