Weekend travel information If you are heading out this weekend, there are lots of ways to travel into the city. The information in this email could change, so please check before you travel or use TfL Go to plan your journey.

London Underground

Bakerloo Bakerloo line Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October No service between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.

Central line Friday 24 into Saturday 25 October Trains will not stop at Notting Hill Gate during Friday Night Tube from 02:30 until 04:30 Use local Night Bus services. This is due to track work.

Circle line Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October No service between Edgware Road and Tower Hill (via Victoria) Use alternative Tube or local bus services. This is due to track work.

District line Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October No service between Embankment/Edgware Road and Ealing Broadway, Kensington (Olympia), Richmond and Wimbledon Use alternative Tube, local or rail replacement bus services. This is due to track work.

Piccadilly line Thursday 23 until Saturday 25 October No service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge This closure has been taken as a precautionary measure in response to yellow weather warnings relating to Storm Benjamin, in order to protect our trains from wheel damage caused by wet weather and leaf fall. Use the Metropolitan line, which will continue to run as normal. Friday 24 into Saturday 25 October Trains will not stop at Earl's Court during Friday Night Tube between 02:30 and 04:30 Travel to/from Gloucester Road or Hammersmith using local bus services. This is due to track work.

London Overground

- - - Lioness line The following closures are due to Network Rail maintenance work. Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October No service between Euston and Willesden Junction Use alternative Tube, local or additional bus services. Sunday 26 October No service between Willesden Junction and Watford Junction until 07:45 Use alternative Tube or local bus services.

- - - Mildmay line The following closures are due to Network Rail track work. Thursday 23 October No westbound service between Camden Road and Willesden Junction after 23:45 Use local bus routes. Friday 24 October No southbound service between Willesden Junction and Shepherd's Bush until 06:15 Use local bus routes. Saturday 25 until Tuesday 28 October No service between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction On Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 October, one train per hour between Willesden Junction and Stratford in both directions will not run its usual route. These trains will run non-stop between Willesden Junction and Camden Road, and will not stop at stations between Kensal Rise and Kentish Town West. There will also be no Southern Railway service between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction. Use Tube and rail services, or local bus routes. Sunday 26 October No service between Gospel Oak and Stratford until 11:00 Use local or rail replacement buses. No service between Camden Road and Stratford after 22:15 Use local or rail replacement buses.

- - - Suffragette line Sunday 26 October No service between Barking and Barking Riverside until 12:30 Use local bus route EL1. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.

- Weaver - Weaver line Sunday 26 until Thursday 30 October No service between Hackney Downs and Chingford after 22:45 each night Use alternative Tube, local or rail replacement bus services. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.

- Windrush - Windrush line Sunday 26 October No service between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace/West Croydon Use local or Southern Railway replacement buses. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.

Elizabeth line

Sunday 26 October No service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway until 07:45 Use Tube services or local bus routes. This is due to Network Rail track work. Reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead/Heathrow Terminal 4 from 07:45

London Trams

Saturday 25 October until Sunday 2 November No service between Wimbledon and Therapia Lane Use local bus routes. Tram replacement buses will run between Wimbledon and Waddon Marsh. This is due to engineering works.

Buses and roads

Bus journeys will be affected by the following changes over the weekend. A bus strike will affect some bus routes in southwest, west and northwest London.

Bus strike Due to planned strike action, some bus routes in southwest, west and northwest London will be disrupted during the following times: From 05:00 on Friday 24 until 05:00 on Saturday 25 October From 05:00 on Monday 27 until 05:00 on Tuesday 28 October From 05:00 on Tuesday 4 until 05:00 on Friday 7 November From 05:00 on Friday 14 until 05:00 on Saturday 15 November From 05:00 on Monday 17 until 05:00 on Wednesday 19 November From 05:00 on Wednesday 26 until 05:00 on Saturday 29 November During these strikes, little or no service is expected on the following routes: 13 (24hr route), 23 (24hr route), 31, 218, 295 (24hr route), 452 and N31.  All other bus routes, Tube and rail services will run as planned but services in this area may be busier than usual. Plan ahead, allow more time for your journey and check before you travel. Thursday 23 until Sunday 26 October Events at entertainment venues, stadiums and local areas Key events taking place include: Thursday 23 October Clapham Common - festival event (17:00 until 23:00) Selhurst Park - Crystal Palace football match (20:00 until 22:00) Friday 24 October Clapham Common - festival event (17:00 until 23:00) ExCeL Arena - exhibition event (09:00 until 19:00) Hammersmith - festival event (17:00 until 23:00) Greenwich - music event (19:00 until 23:00) Saturday 25 October ExCeL Arena - exhibition event (09:00 until 19:00) Wembley Arena - performance event (10:30 until 13:30, and 17:30 until 20:30) Clapham Common - festival event (17:00 until 23:00) Hammersmith - festival event (17:00 until 23:00) Drumsheds - music event (13:00 until 22:30) Central London - walking marathon event (14:00 until 22:00) Wembley Stadium - England rugby league match (14:30 until 16:00) Stamford Bridge - Chelsea football match (15:00 until 17:00) GTech Community Stadium - Brentford football match (20:00 until 22:00) Greenwich - music event (17:00 until 23:00) O2 Arena - boxing event (18:30 until 23:00) Alexandra Palace - music event (19:30 until 22:30) Sunday 26 October ExCeL Arena - exhibition event (09:00 until 19:00) Wembley Arena - performance event (10:30 until 13:30, and 17:30 until 20:30) O2 Arena - performance event (12:00 until 16:00) Emirates Stadium - Arsenal football match (14:00 until 16:00) Increased footfall and traffic levels are expected before and after each event, with some venues implementing local road closures to safely manage pedestrian and vehicle movements. Stamford Bridge travel advice If you are travelling to Stamford Bridge for the Chelsea football match on Saturday, here is some advice to get to/from the venue: There is no District line service west of Embankment, including no service to/from Fulham Broadway, West Brompton or Earl's Court Supporters travelling to/from the stadium should use either Piccadilly line services to/from Earl's Court, or Mildmay line services to/from West Brompton or Imperial Wharf Piccadilly line services are expected to be extremely busy before and after the match, and there may be extended queues at Earl's Court after the event. Allow more time for your journey Gtech Community Stadium travel advice If you are travelling to the Gtech Community Stadium for the Brentford football match on Saturday, here is some advice to get to/from the venue:  There is no District line service west of Embankment, including Gunnersbury station Use either South Western Railway services between Waterloo and Kew Bridge, or Piccadilly line services to/from Acton Town Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena travel advice If you are travelling to Wembley for events at Wembley Stadium or Wembley Arena, here is some advice to get to/from the venues: There will be no Bakerloo line service between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone, and no service on the Lioness line Use either the Jubilee line or Metropolitan line to/from Wembley Park station Friday 24 until Monday 27 October A4 Cromwell Road From 23:00 on Friday 24 until 05:00 on Monday 27 October, the westbound A4 West Cromwell Road will be closed between Warwick Road and North End Road. This is so we can safely operate a crane to carry out critical safety works on nearby infrastructure.  A signed diversion will be in place. Plan ahead, allow more time for your journey and check before you travel.  Until Tuesday 4 November Battersea Bridge On Sunday to Thursday nights until Tuesday 4 November, there will be a series of overnight closures on Cheyne Walk, Battersea Bridge and Battersea Bridge Road. This is while we complete resurfacing works. Signed diversions will be in place for all closures.  On Sundays, closures will be between 20:00 and 05:00. On Mondays to Thursdays, closures will be between 21:00 and 05:00. If you're travelling in the area during this time, plan ahead, allow more time for your journey and check before you travel.
