Seal numbers increasing in the Thames

Seal numbers increasing in the Thames

Conservationists and volunteers took to the skies, boarded boats, and tip-toed across marshland for the second year of the annual seal survey. Over three days they covered more than 4,000sqkm between Deal in Kent and Felixstowe in Suffolk to complete the most comprehensive count of seals in the region.

Add your seal sightings, plus any other marine mammals, to our Marine Mammal Map. You can also view the results of this year’s count too!
