More than 50 firefighters tackled a blaze at an exclusive circus-themed nightclub in Soho.
The basement of Cirque le Soir, just off famous shopping district Carnaby Street, was set alight early this morning.
Nobody was injured in the blaze, which was brought under control at about 8.30am.
The London Fiore Brigade's Nic Myatt, who was at the scene, said: "Crews did exceptionally well and worked incredibly hard in arduous conditions to stop this fire from spreading to other parts of the building and to contain it to what was quite a large basement area. Thankfully no-one was inside at the time and there were no injuries."
