Egg-tastic Easter Fun Friday 29 – Monday 1 April, 11.00-16.00 Drop in during the Easter weekend for bunny stories and games, find out where the Easter Bunny has hidden his chocolate eggs and have a go at seasonal crafts.
Oranges and Lemons Monday 1 – Sunday 7 April Rebecca Davies travels the country in Beau Belle’s Ice Cream Van collecting English folk traditions. Drop by to share your story, take part in an art workshop and take part in zany activities with oranges and lemons!
When I Was Young Tuesday 2 – Sunday 14 April, 10.30-16.00 Have a go at popular games from the past 60 years, enjoy a creative retelling of The Emperor’s New Clothes and design a ridiculous outfit for a paper doll emperor, inspired by 60 years of fashion.

Modern British Childhood 1948-2012 Until 14 April Don’t miss the last chance to see this major exhibition, exploring the huge changes that occurred in lives of children in Britain during the period between the London Olympic Games of 1948 and 2012.
The Space Between Until 19 May A display of work by photographic collective The Lyrical and the Ordinary, focusing on the domestic family environment. Although the themes vary – from worry and loss to humour and affection – personal stories lie at the heart of each artists’ work.
A Treasured Collection Until 1 September An exuberant and eclectic installation of ‘mini museums’ made with adults and children, giving an insight into the private art of collecting. |
