Robot, Kuka, 2013
We are in the midst of a transformation in the way we design, make and use objects. A transformation that will affect commerce, industry, and the way that we all live as profoundly as any previous Industrial Revolution. The exhibition The Future is Hereexplores how the boundaries between designer, manufacturer and consumer are becoming increasingly blurred, through themes including mass customisation, emerging technologies and open-source platforms amongst others. Manufacturing techniques are also demonstrated live, allowing visitors to get closer to technologies that will change our designed world.
Available to venues from November 2013 onwards.

Bevin Court, Mass Observation, 2013.
Photography by Theo Simpson.
The British landscape is rich with forgotten architecture: extraordinary buildings, structures and ideas that helped define the landscape of their time but which are often unknown to the general public. Lesser Known Architecture by Theo Simpson, seeks to document these structures, bringing their existence (and sometimes their plight) to a wider audience and acknowledging the architects and engineers who created such incredible work.
Available to venues from October 2013 onwards.

Digitarian, from the exhibition
United Micro Kingdoms (UMK),
Design Museum, London 2013.
United Micro Kingdoms (UmK)presents a future for the UK, as imagined by designers Dunne & Raby. The exhibition, set in a fictional future, sees England devolved into four self-contained counties, each free to experiment with governance, economy and lifestyle. These ‘live laboratories’ interrogate the cultural and ethical impact of existing and new technologies, whilst demonstrating the provocative nature of Dunne and Raby's work which seeks to highlight the power and potential of design. UmK challenges assumptions about how products and services are made and used, through reinterpretations of transport systems.
Available to venues from September 2013 onwards.
