15 August is the 75th anniversary of VJ (Victory over Japan) Day.

The National Museum of the Royal Navy, the National Army Museum, the Royal Air Force Museum and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission have joined forces to mark this occasion with an online series of talks, tours and debates.

Don't miss two joint events featuring historians from the four military heritage organisations; Saturday's debate looks at myth and memory around VJ Day while Sunday's discussion focuses on the campaign's cultural legacy.

Plus, we host talks with Professor Tarak Barkawi; General Lord Richards; Julie Summers and Geoff Gill.

This year’s Chelsea History Festival will bring the past to life through a series of talks, tours and events, on a virtual and physical stage.

From military to art history, natural to social history, immerse yourself in over 50 varied events and discover the relevance of history today.

Headline speakers will include Philippe Sands, Hallie Rubenhold, Olivette Otele and Michael Morpurgo.
