Festive Greetings

This festive period, Strawberry Hill House and Shop is open, Sunday - Wednesday, our Cafe and Garden, Sunday - Thursday until 21 December 2022. Our full opening hours over Christmas and New Year can be found below. Looking ahead to next year, our 2023 Tickets are now open for booking.

'Unravelling Gibbons' Cravats' was part of the culmination of GG300 Festival and organised by the Grinling Gibbons Society. This event was held at Strawberry Hill House, the house in which Horace Walpole famously wore Gibbons' carved cravat to welcome and deceive his dinner guests.

Christmas and New Year Opening

The House is open as normal until Wednesday 21 December. Over the Christmas period the House will be open on 27 & 28 December and 1 & 2 January. The House will then be closed for Conservation and will reopen on Sunday 29 January 2023. Tickets for 2023 are now open for booking.
