Museums and eats

A short walk from the new Bond Street station you’ll find Mercato Mayfair, a foodie hotspot situated in a beautiful old church. Or if you fancy a spot of culture then the Whitechapel Gallery has plenty of inspiring exhibitions and talks.

While over at the Museum of St John in Farringdon, which you can get to from Heathrow in 42 minutes**, you can learn the fascinating story of an ancient military order.

Animals and nature

There are plenty of outdoorsy opportunities to be found along the Elizabeth line. At the east end of the line you’ve got the Wanstead Flats with its bird-watching delights, while at the west end you’ve got the Museum of English Rural Life.

Here you can learn all about the history of the English countryside and its people. Located in-between just north of Paddington is Little Venice, with its waterside cafes and cosy pubs.
