Something big has come to Westfield London, Shepherd’s Bush. The tallest Christmas tree in Europe on an ice rink, to be exact – and it’s a real must-visit this season.
This glimmering tree – topped with a huge gleaming star – sits in the centre of a sparkling 1,000M2 block of pure white ice. Bookings are open for 45-minute sessions now, and with tips and tricks provided by the friendly, red-fleeced staff, you’ll be gliding freely around in no time (there are support penguins to hold onto, too!).
It’s the centrepiece of Westfield London’s Winter Village, which is not only home to the ice rink, but also to all the ingredients for a full day or night out. You can get up to three hours of free parking off-peak, and you’ll want that extra time for shopping, exploring and dining.
