From Spies in the Skies, a brand-new exhibition exploring Second World War aerial reconnaissance at IWM Duxford to Storyteller: Photography by Tim Hetherington at IWM London, an in-depth retrospective of the celebrated photojournalist's work.

This year's Duxford Summer Air Show will commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, while at IWM London and Churchill War Rooms we will be marking 150 years since Churchill's birth and 40 years since Churchill War Rooms opened to the public.

The Troubles engulfed Northern Ireland in conflict for nearly 30 years. A contentious period, its roots go back centuries.

Opening at IWM North in March 2024, this exhibition invites you to understand the Troubles through the multiple perspectives of individuals affected by the conflict.

The work of photojournalist and filmmaker Tim Hetherington provides a visually captivating insight into conflict, challenging our assumptions about war and those caught up in it. This exhibition features photography from across his career as well as a selection of his cameras and diaries on display. Find out more.
